About Us At Dr. Karl M. Williams, Inc., we provide psychological consultation in a number of areas. Our primary area of practice is that of forensic (psycho-legal) assessment. We also offer general psychological evaluations and treatment.
Based in the Vancouver, BC area, we are able to provide consultative services throughout British Columbia and other regions of Canada.
All clinical services are provided by, or under the direct supervision of, Dr. Williams. In the past Dr. Williams has provided psychological consultation to numerous individuals, organizations and government agencies as well as to a law firms, defense and prosecuting attorneys. One component of Dr. Williams' private practice has been to serve as a psychological consultant to the Correctional Service of Canada, the BC Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General and the Canadian Department of Justice. Qualified numerous times as an expert witness in clinical and forensic psychology at all levels of court in the province of British Columbia and in the Yukon Territory, he has testified on matters as divergent as first degree murder, criminal responsibility and dangerous offender designation.
Professional Affiliations Dr. Williams is licensed as a psychologist with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia, Canada (CPBC Registration Number 911). He also is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association. He is a Fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute and he is a registrant of the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
